Some help
[modificare sursă]Hi, I am messaging you since you're the most active user here right now. I am writing an article for English Wikipedia but I have no idea what this means even with the help of online dictionaries: Ahurhi studii la Facultatea ti Literatura di Bucureshti, ma nu-ù bitisi di ispetea-a neagiundziriljei. I am also struggling with this: Tuti caetili cu puizii Ij-si chirurã tu Protlu polim din lumi, cu tsi literatura-armãneascã multu urfanipsi. Could you translate these to English for me?
- He (she) started studying at the Faculty of Literature in Bucharest, but he (she) was not able to graduate from it.
- Tuti caetili cu puizii Ij-si chirurã tu Protlu polim din lumi, cu tsi literatura-armãneascã multu urfanipsi.
- All of his poetry notebooks were lost in World War I, which greatly impoverished the Aromanian literature.
If you need any assistance with anything else in Aromanian, I would be happy to help, my email is: paxinanima@gmail.com Moscopolitanus (discuție) 19 Cirishar 2024 13:36 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot! I will email you in case I need help with a long text. Feel free to reach out to me in case you need help with anything, you can email me here [1]. One last thing. How could Armânescul sândă strigă be translated? It's the title of a poem so words might have a figurative meaning. Super Dromaeosaurus (discuție) 19 Cirishar 2024 13:44 (UTC)
- If you could send me the whole poem it might make some more sense.
- Armânescul = Aromanian
- usândă = conviction, I'm note sure about sândă but the poet might be using some different spelling which I could decipher after seeing the complete poem
- strigă = calls, yells Moscopolitanus (discuție) 19 Cirishar 2024 13:52 (UTC)
- It's here [2], pages 181-183. It's a poem by Zicu Araia. I translated the title as "The Aromanian Blood Screams" at English Wikipedia as I thought sândă could be the Aromanian equivalent of the Romanian sânge, blood, but I am probably wrong. By the way, in the poem I sent it is spelt sîndză. You might be aware but I want to note â and î represent the same sound and the use of î was usual in some words before a spelling reform. I think they are equivalent to the Aromanian ã. Super Dromaeosaurus (discuție) 19 Cirishar 2024 14:05 (UTC)
- Yes sîndză is blood, but without the z it makes no sense. Yes â and î are the equivalent of ã, so using alphabet I am used to I would write it: Armãnescul sãndzã strigã, and your translation is correct. Moscopolitanus (discuție) 19 Cirishar 2024 14:08 (UTC)
- Okay. I will use the spelling with z then. Thanks a lot. Super Dromaeosaurus (discuție) 19 Cirishar 2024 14:20 (UTC)

Research about the tools on Wikimedia projects by the CEE Hub
[modificare sursă]Hi everyone,
We would like to invite you to submit your responses to the survey dedicated to the tools that are used currently across the Wikimedia projects and the tools that you want to have.
This survey was made by the working group of the CEE Hub, and your responses will be reviewed afterwards, as we want to continue supporting the communities. That support can be documentation for certain most used tools by other communities across the region per specific topics, finding solutions for new tools to be created in the future, creating most needed tools in the region (so called "regional wishlist list"), and many other options.
Deadline to fill in the survey is 20th of August, 2024.
Submit your answers here
Thank you in advance for your time that you will dedicate in filling in this survey --MediaWiki message delivery (discuție) 26 Alunar 2024 13:07 (UTC)
